Precautions:
Avoid soaking the reading pen in water: If the pen gets wet, water may enter the circuit board, which can cause damage. Also, avoid damaging the camera lens. If the lens gets dirty or covered in debris, it can significantly reduce the pen's reading sensitivity. In such cases, the camera may need to be replaced.
Do not subject the pen to hard impacts: Avoid dropping or hitting the pen, especially the pen's head, against hard objects. This can damage the protective shell of the camera and may impact the camera's internal components, such as soldering points and wiring.
Keep the reading pen away from TV screens: Never place the pen directly on a TV screen, especially a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TV. The high-speed electronic scanning lines and intense light produced near the screen can burn out the light-sensitive IC in the camera. Parents should especially remind children of this.
Charge the pen when the battery is low: If the pen's battery is left uncharged for an extended period (more than three months), it can cause damage to the built-in lithium battery, preventing it from charging properly.
Reset the reading pen if it crashes: If the pen crashes (a rare occurrence), reset it by pressing the reset switch with a toothpick or needle for a few seconds. This will restore the pen to normal operation.
