Last year our company had the opportunity to help a client from Italy with their deep customization of dot matrix pens. We are thrilled to share this success story with you.
Customers have unique requirements. They hope that we can help them design a unique mold, not just for producing pens, and hope that we can provide SDK and technical support so that their R&D team can develop Android and iOS APPs. The customer also wants us to design different size notebook and complete the final product.
Customer say the dot matrix pen is great for teachers and students, allowing you to write and draw on paper, digitize and share notes via a dedicated app, making the management of school projects more efficient and organized. He is very confident in this product.
Next we will introduce some of the more important aspects.
#Mold Design
After the customer proposed the ID idea, and evaluation by engineers and multiple confirmations from the customer, we provided the first version of the ID design within a week. During this period, the customer also proposed some changes. After the final ID version was confirmed, it took us another 10 days to design the structure and draw the motherboard at the same time.
It took 12 days to make CNC. After the customer confirmed the CNC, we opened the mold. After a long T0 stage, we carried out T1, T2, and finally confirmed that T3 was the final bulk sample.
This process took about half a year. Although there were some hiccups in the process, we were successfully resolved after friendly and effective communication with the customer.
#Custom Notebook
We help customers customize notebooks in 3 sizes: A5, A4 and B5, design inner pages, covers, paving, printing and delivery of finished products.
#APP Customization
We have our own R&D team. We gave the customer a quotation and a software development schedule, but the customer finally chose to use his own R&D team.
So we just provide Android and iOS SDKs to the customer, and also assist them in solving some technical problems and help testing APPs.
